Schultz pioneered in the Northwest in the 1870s, lived for a time with the Blackfeet and later wrote both fiction and nonfiction books about his experiences and the lives of his Blackfeet friends. His son Hart Merriam Schultz (Lone Wolf), born of a Blackfoot woman, became an artist and illustrated some of J.W. Schultz's books. $20.00
