There is no lead or any other harmful substance in the metals; all metal pieces are designed to be safe as possible, with a minimum of sharp corners and edges. Only lead free solder is used. Pilgrim Imports originated over 40 years ago in a village outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Over 400 neighbors in this rural land work together to produce the art pieces Pilgrim buyers and customers love. They are able to remain in their homeland and utilize traditional metalworking skills.

This small, hand carved tagua bat ornament is an exquisitely detailed 2.5 inch piece of hangable art. It is a fair-trade item made in Ecuador. Tagua is a form of vegetable ivory harvested from ivory palms in South America. It is viewed as a sustainable alternative to ivory derived from animals, and responsible cultivation and harvesting of tagua may also help with rain forest conservation in South America.

This 5' garland is made up of original watercolor, gouache and pencil illustrations. It features five North American bats. Each bat measures about 6" wide and is printed on 100% recycled linen paper, and strung on eco friendly hemp cord. Made in United States of America.
