The Louisville Grotto hosts Speloefest, promoted as "the caving festival of Kentucky'. Held on Memorial Day Weekend, this event is a great chance to camp, cave, hike, or just kick back and enjoy the weekend. Caving is a great place to get out of the heat, natural temperatures are around 58 degrees all year long. Come for a day or the whole weekend. This is our main fundraiser of the year. By coming to Speleofest you are helping to support our preserve and the local caving community.
